Sinéad O’Brien is a fiddle and tin whistle player from Miltown Malbay. Raised in a musical family, she began playing at the age of five. Her mother, Bríd O’Donohue, a renowned tin whistle teacher, and her fiddle teacher, Siobhán Peoples, greatly influenced her style and technique.
Sinéad has performed at various festivals across the country. Since turning 18, she has also been teaching music, sharing her knowledge and passion with young musicians in her community. Sinéad continues to contribute to Irish traditional music as both a performer and teacher.
